Short bionote:

Eze Paez is a postdoctoral researcher for the Portuguese Foundation for Science and Technology at the Center for Ethics, Politics and Society (University of Minho). He is also a member of the scientific committee of the Center for Animal Ethics at Pompeu Fabra University, where he obtained his PhD in moral philosophy and acquired his bachelor and masters' in law. He has written about different problems in applied ethics, especially those related to the badness of death and our obligations to non-human animals. His articles have been published in prestigious journals such as 'American Behavioral Scientist', 'Bioethics' and 'Utilitas'.
