Nota biográfica:

Sou Investigador do Centro de Ética, Política e Sociedade, onde também sou responsável pela Área de Investigação em Filosofia Política e pela série de seminários do Centro. Anteriormente, ocupei cargos na Luiss University (onde também lecionei cursos de filosofia política, história do pensamento político, filosofia das ciências sociais e bioética) e no National Research Council of Italy. Obtive o meu doutoramento em Filosofia do Direito pela Universidade de Pádua e benificiei de  bolsas de investigação no Instituto de Estudos Avançados da Universidade de Aix-Marseille, e na Hoover Chair da UCL de Lovaina. Os meus interesses atuais centram-se nos direitos constitucionais, na justificação da dissidência e nos aspectos epistémicos dos direitos. As minhas contribuições para estes e outros temas relacionados têm aparecido nas revistas  Social Epistemology, Philosophy and Social Criticism, bem como em volumes editados pela Routledge e Continuum. Sou o autor com Manohar Kumar do livro Speaking Truth to Power — A Theory of Whistleblowing, Springer 2018.

Interesses de investigação:

Political Philosophy and Political Theory: public interest, whistleblowing, government secrecy, epistemic aspects of justice and democracy, constitutional rights, Philosophy of Law: legal responsibility, pragmatic and inferential accounts of legal concepts.
