Nota biográfica:
Giuseppe Ballacci é Investigador Integrado no Centro para Ética, Política e Sociedade da Universidade do Minho (CEPS). Detém um doutoramento em Teoria Política pela Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, foi visiting scholar na Humboldt University of Berlin, University of Chicago, e New School for Social Research, investigador associado do Centre de Théorie Politique da Université Libre de Bruxelles, professor visitante da IE University, Madrid e em Vesalius College, em Bruxelas. As suas áreas de interesse são Teoria Política Contemporânea, História da Teoria Política, Teoria da democracia, Representação Política, Populismo, e Rétorica. A investigação que desenvolve atualmente foca-se em temas relacionados como a retórica, o juízo político, o populismo, os limites da deliberação racional, ou a relação entre a esfera pública e privada.
