Short bionote:

Giuseppe Ballacci is a Full Researcher at the Centre for Ethics, Politics and Society at the University of Minho (CEPS). He holds a PhD in Political Theory from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and has been visiting scholar at the Humboldt University of Berlin, University of Chicago, and New School for Social Research, associate researcher of the Centre de Théorie Politique, at the Université Libre de Bruxelles, and visiting professor at the IE University, Madrid, and Vesalius College, Brussels. His areas of interest are Contemporary Political Theory, History of Political Theory, Democratic Theory, Political Representation, Populism, and Rhetoric. Currently, he is developing his research focusing on related issues such as rhetoric, political judgment, political representation, populism, the limits of rational deliberation, and the relation between the private and the public.
