Short bionote:

Catarina de Brito Carreira Tello de Castro. Catarina completed her BA Degree in Philosophy in 2017, obtaining the official diploma in 2018, by the Faculty of Letters of the University of Lisbon. Also completed her MPhil in Political Science and International Relations at the Catholic University of Portugal by the Institute of Political Studies, in January 2021. She was a student member at the Centre of Philosophy of the University of Lisbon (CFUL) since 2017 until 2021, at the Praxis research group and was a founding member and coordinator of the Nucleus for Political Studies of the University of Lisbon, a group also linked to Praxis, from 2015 to 2019. Catarina was also part of the student group for philosophical discussion Argument Clinic, from 2016 to 2020. She has organized and participated in multiple national and international events since the beginning of her academic training and has, to date, 1 publication without peer review, in "Estratégia" magazine. She was supervised by Professor Doctor André Azevedo Alves, with whom she researched about the work of the economist Gary Becker within the scope of Political Science. Her work focuses mainly on the areas of Economic Theory, Philosophy of Economics, Political Philosophy, Epistemology, Ethics and Philosophy of Language.
